Purdy & Figg sells refillable, essential-oil-scented natural cleaning sprays and starter/trial kits direct to UK consumers. This report reads their own public Meta Ad Library data: what they are actually running right now, how long each type of ad survives, and what that tells us about how they sell. It covers Purdy & Figg only, no other brand is compared here.
Meta's Ad Library only shows Purdy & Figg's currently active ads (not spend, not real impressions), and its own grid caps out at roughly 27 results per search. We ran enough searches to harvest 251 unique active ads in total, but the harvest log itself estimates about 24,667 further active ads existed that we could not retrieve because of that cap. So this is a large, real sample of what Purdy & Figg is running, not a claim to have seen everything.
From that pool we pulled full detail (copy, images, video, days-live) on 100 ads, and those 100 split into two tiers with different strength of evidence:
total_impressions ranking, the closest thing Meta exposes to “which ads are actually working.” Treat these as the strongest signal in this report.Of the 100 detailed ads, 96 have a captured still image and 4 do not (the scout pass returned no image for those four records; we note that honestly in the gallery rather than substitute a different ad's image). 75 of the 100 are video, 25 are static images or DCO-only image cards.
All 100 detailed ads sorted into the types above and ranked by average days-live, the same durability technique used across our competitor-intel work. The last two columns are the honesty check: how many of each type's ads are impression-verified versus durability-proxy only.
| Creative type | What it is | Ads | Avg days live | Longest | Top-49 verified | Proxy only |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Sold-out-last-year urgency video | Christmas Frankincense & Myrrh free-gift offer, run with an ever-changing cast of creators, characters and hooks but the same headline: it sold out before, so buy now. This single script accounts for over half the sample. | 51 | 138d | 138d | 0 | 51 |
| DPA / catalog product-on-white static | A plain product shot with no headline copy and a generic “Purdy & Figg” caption, built for retargeting. | 2 | 138d | 138d | 2 | 0 |
| Ingredient / before-after education static | A comparison or ingredient-led static making a functional claim rather than a price or a person. | 1 | 138d | 138d | 1 | 0 |
| Seasonal lifestyle / collection shot | An aspirational hand-and-bottle shot introducing a new seasonal collection, no price shown. | 2 | 138d | 138d | 2 | 0 |
| Discount / offer static | Price-led product shot or graphic: “Was £X, Now £Y”, a percent-off badge, a flatlay of the kit contents. The evergreen backbone of the account, static or lightly animated. | 31 | 133.3d | 138d | 31 | 0 |
| Comedic character / spokesperson video | A scripted ad with an actor playing a character (a robed “don’t mind if I do” man, a costumed Santa) rather than a real customer. | 2 | 89d | 138d | 2 | 0 |
| UGC creator testimonial & demo video | A real customer or creator talking to camera or demonstrating the spray at home: cleaning hacks, before-guests-arrive routines, checklist demos. | 7 | 50.1d | 138d | 7 | 0 |
| Unboxing / kit-reveal video | Top-down box-opening shots that reveal the kit contents, usually paired with the price drop. | 4 | 43d | 58d | 4 | 0 |
Days-live is capped at 138 in this capture for anything that has been running the entire window we could observe, so several types tie at the ceiling rather than showing a true maximum. The sold-out urgency video's "138d, 0 verified" combination is the one to read carefully: it is the most durable message in the account by a wide margin, but every single one of its 51 ads is a proxy pick, not a Meta impression-rank pick, precisely because there are so many of them that none individually cracked Meta's top-49 impression sort.
All 100 detailed ads are classified in the taxonomy above; this gallery shows a representative, evenly-spread sample of each type (up to 14 per group, sampled by days-live so the spread is honest rather than cherry-picked) so the page stays readable instead of a wall of near-identical Christmas variants. Each tile shows the actual captured image, how long that ad has run, and a badge marking whether it is impression-verified (top-49, the stronger evidence) or a durability-proxy pick (ranks 50-100). Click any tile to open the live ad on Meta's public Ad Library.

37 further sold-out-last-year urgency video ads were classified with a captured image but are not tiled here to keep this page readable; sampled evenly by days-live so the range above is representative, not cherry-picked.
Price-led product shot or graphic: “Was £X, Now £Y”, a percent-off badge, a flatlay of the kit contents. The evergreen backbone of the account, static or lightly animated.
13 further discount / offer static ads were classified with a captured image but are not tiled here to keep this page readable; sampled evenly by days-live so the range above is representative, not cherry-picked. 4 more discount / offer static ads classified from copy alone with no still image captured (Library IDs: 2109394562945761, 1162686282667974, 1640086997054184, 27764355259855550).

A scripted ad with an actor playing a character (a robed “don’t mind if I do” man, a costumed Santa) rather than a real customer.
A plain product shot with no headline copy and a generic “Purdy & Figg” caption, built for retargeting.
A comparison or ingredient-led static making a functional claim rather than a price or a person.
An aspirational hand-and-bottle shot introducing a new seasonal collection, no price shown.
Images are stills pulled from each ad (a poster frame for video, the original creative for statics), captured 12 Aug 2026 from Purdy & Figg's own public Ad Library listing. Four detailed ads have no image on record (Library IDs: 2109394562945761, 1162686282667974, 1640086997054184, 27764355259855550) and are excluded from the gallery rather than represented with a substitute image. Meta occasionally rotates or retires ads, so a link may show the advertiser's current set rather than this exact creative if it has since been switched off.
Source: Meta Ad Library, public UK listing for Purdy & Figg, captured 12 Aug 2026. The harvest pass collected 251 unique active ads; the harvest log's own coverage caveat estimates roughly 24,667 further active ads existed that were not retrievable because 40 search windows hit Meta's ~27-result grid cap, so this is a large sample of the active-ad universe, not a complete count. From that pool, 100 ads were fully detailed: ranks 1-49 sorted by Meta's own total_impressions field (the genuine top-ads signal Meta exposes), ranks 50-100 selected by days-live from the 251-ad pool as a durability proxy because Meta's impression sort itself caps at roughly 27 results per query. All 100 were classified by primary creative type from their actual copy, image or video poster frame; offer and gifting flags were read from the ad's captured copy text. Days-live and creative longevity are used as a durability proxy because Meta does not publish spend or true impression figures for commercial ads; an ad that keeps running is a reasonable, but not certain, signal that it is not losing money. No customer quotes, reviews or claims beyond what is visible in Purdy & Figg's own public ad copy are used anywhere in this report.
